3. Why we use your data and our lawful basis

4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the waitlist database
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website
- Our email provider, used to notify our team of new waitlist sign-ups and to reply to you
- Google (Google Analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies
- Google Fonts, which serves the typeface used on the site; your browser sends your IP address to Google to load it
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to professional advisers where necessary.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers, including Cloudflare and Google, may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to delete them, or for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first. If you become a customer, we will tell you how long we keep customer records at that point.
Analytics data is kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your data
- Ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to our use of it
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month. Using your rights is free of charge.
8. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent to being contacted, or to receiving launch updates, at any time by emailing us. You can change your cookie choice at any time from our Cookie Policy page. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
